So here’s my big reveal: I am a sex worker.

It’s quite common for my clients to get naked in front of me both emotionally and in the absence of their clothes, but that doesn’t make me a prostitute. The distinction matters.

I consider prostitution to be anything you do for money that violates your health or boundaries. I strive not to do anything that compromises my energetic, emotional, spiritual, or sexual integrity.

The priestesses of yore also were sex workers. You might’ve heard the phrase “temple prostitutes” in an article that conveniently omitted the rest of the story which I’ll fill you in on tomorrow.

The history of powerful women has been suppressed by the culture and systems that would be undone by its knowing. The time of that undoing is here, and I am one of the early seeds of this knowledge.
