Remember what I said a few weeks ago about the slow start to the year where most of us were out in the middle of the lake in a paddleboat with only one flapper? Well have no fear, there’s no need to paddle back to familiar shores. A whirlpool opened up and sucked my fair boat into the void and reformatted all its attendant electrons and quarks until out popped the other side a spaceship. It seems to have at least two working rudders. I don’t totally trust I know how to steer it yet, but I’m sure it’s fine.
So hello, everyone. Good to meet you. How are you doing in this almost-February?
I know we’re almost ready to do *the Thing* even though I’m not sure entirely what said Thing is just yet. In any case, we need this week’s internet harvest to feed our inspiration. Onwards.
look
[music] This will do your heart and soul an enormous amount of good. I present the inimitable Bengsons. They are SO CUTE together! <3
[sillies] In this weeks’ mewsletter (sorry) we see courage and cowardice play out their fates with balls and beige carpet.
[art] Ultra Ulrika brings the heat with her interpretation of the dakini. Is that Kali’s skull necklace I spy with my little eye?
[film] You know when you lived at the beach for three months and let your cast iron pots get totally savaged by the salt air? You need a *really* good scrubber to get them clean. That’s what this show is like for the rust we built up in the pandemia. I’ve been slowly making my way through the show Maniac. It has one of the most in depth portrayals of psychosis and grief I’ve ever seen.
[also film] In the same category… I can’t miss mentioning Undone. It had to be animated to be able to show how reality bends. Just. So. Good.

On that light note (lol) I’ll wish you a beautiful Friday and happy weekend, friends.
Besos,
